New Music for Justice FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2009 7:00 PM Bethlehem Church Sanctuary Join us for a juried composers’ concert featuring new works in jazz, classical, and world music by West Michigan performers and composers!             Reception Art: Avenue for the Arts Juried Works The Avenue for the Arts is a neighborhood title for the South Division commercial corridor. We are residential, commercial, nonprofit groups working together in a creative community. We are residents in Heartside, and active participants in shaping change in our neighborhood. In 2005 we choose the Avenue for the Arts as a title to represent our commercial corridor and the projects and events that we create. In 2004 the Avenue for the Arts was awarded a Cool Cities Designation by the State of Michigan, in 2008 we received the Governors’ Award for outstanding support of the Arts in Michigan.
