| The
Grand Rapids Coalition to End Homelessness is a coalition
of more than 150 governmental, private and religious organizations
that work with shelters, housing providers, service providers,
state and local agencies, foundations, businesses, local elected
officials and private citizens throughout the greater Grand
Rapids area to prevent homelessness and to provide support
for people in crisis. All funds donated for the MAJIC concert
will go directly to the Congregational Partnership Program
(congregations are matched with vulnerable households and
provide housing subsidy and friendly support for one year).
The goal is to provide housing stability so that households
can become sustainable. No one deserves to be without safe,
affordable, permanent housing.

What can you or
your church do to help the Coalition to End Homelessness?
More church partners
(like Bethlehem) are needed to support the Vision to End Homelessness
by 2014. Please consider approaching your church to be a partner
and promote affordable permanent housing for all. Information
is available through GRACE (Grand Rapids Area Center for Ecumenism).
Contact Lori Fedewa,
Resource Coordinator for Congregational Partnerships for more
information.
GRACE (Grand Rapids
Area Center for Ecumenism) is the fiduciary for MAJIC allowing
for all of our at the door donations for concerts to be given
directly to the Coalition to End Homelessness WITHOUT a processing
fee. Thanks to GRACE for supporting the social vision of MAJIC,
and for brining local churches together to help people in
need in the greater Grand Rapids area.
